BetaFilm studio for Mac

From anything on a screen
to a film.

Make it with your agent or by hand, from footage, images, ideas or a recording of your Mac. Every shot stays yours to edit.

Watch the films

01The films

Imagine what you
can create.

Every film here was made in bokeh. Open one and it’s an ordinary project, every shot, word and sound yours to change.

One hour, one booking.Feature film for CHOSEN, a coaching marketplace0:53

The request

“Make a film that shows how CHOSEN works: a client says what they need, a coach publishes an opening, and it becomes one booked hour. Clear and calm, under a minute.”

02Record

Your screen is footage.

Press record and work the way you always do. Stop, and the take is ready to cut.

03Edit

Then cut it
by hand.

Everything lands on one timeline, and every cut is yours. Click the title and type, cut a word, trim a silence.

The take lands beside the clips, pictures and songs you already have.

A demo project: a real take with a clip, a screenshot and a song, played muted, and a sample narration script shown as captions.

04Your agent

Your agent directs.
You keep the film.

Your agent decides what happens and where the cursor goes. bokeh decides how it moves: the glide, the camera, the moment it lands. Every edit lands on the ordinary timeline, stays yours to change, and each batch undoes in one step.

  1. Your agent’s crewStoryMotionSoundCritic

Edits the film in the editor, each role under its own name, doing what it said in the terminal.

  2. bokeh

Records the take and finishes the motion: the glide, the camera, the timing.

  3. You

Ask for the film, then change anything in it by hand.

Shared scenes

Made for one film.
Ready for yours.

Every scene in these films stays editable. Take one into your own film, change the words, keep the motion. Or ask your agent to.

Questions, answered.

bokeh is invite-only while it’s in beta, on Macs with Apple silicon. Leave your email at the bottom of this page and we’ll let you know as more spots open up.
No. You can record, cut by transcript, zoom, caption and score all by hand. An agent is one more way in.
An agent cut them in bokeh, on the same timeline you’d use by hand. Each one opens as an ordinary project, every shot, word and sound still yours to change.
bokeh runs an MCP server on your Mac. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and Windsurf connect in one click from Settings, and any other agent that speaks MCP can connect too.
MP4, ProRes and GIF, in widescreen, square or vertical. Export runs on your Mac.
Yes. Recording, transcription and export happen on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it. An agent you connect works under its own provider’s terms.
We usually say BOH-keh. We’ve heard ‘bouquet’ and ‘bow-kuh’ too. However you say it, you’re speaking our language.
